3rd day: BUDAPEST
After breakfast departure with your guide for the first exploration of the city- guided tour in the Buda bank: 19th century Citadella fortress on the top of the Gellert Hill (viewpoint terrace), the Castle Hill with the outstanding Royal Castle housing collections of the National Gallery, the Neo-Gothic St. Matthias Church (legendary Hungarian king Matthias held both of his weddings here) surrounded by medieval houses, neo-Romanesque Fishermen's Bastion with its seven small towers (commemorating seven Hungarian tribes) lunch on the hill Of Fenyogyongye continue on to the Pest part : crossing the Chain Bridge (the first bridge over the Danube), the Parliament (from the exterior), St. Stephen' Basilika, the Halls (shopping centre), Avenue Andrassy and other places built in the Neo-Gothic, Renaissance and Rococo architectural styles. 4th day: BUDAPEST - DANUBE REGION

5th day: BUDAPEST - HOLLOKO - EGER
After breakfast departure for the North of the country, Halte in Holloko, small village listed on the Unesco register,- village church with its towers, rural houses with craftsman' s workshops lunch in Muskadli - regional cuisine, possibility to meet and talk to "Piroska NĂ©ni"-dweller of this community worn in the popular costume recalling the old good times continue on to Eger - guided visit of the fortress , Basilica and the historical centre - with its preserved Baroque architecture check-in at the hotel***, and dinner in the Valley of Beautiful Women ( Szepasszonyvolgy) in the pub Kullacs -cellar hewed into the cave ( Hungarian cuisine offering its delicacies, regional strong red wines - the most famous " Bull' s Blood")
6th day: EGER - KECSKEMET
Departure for Kecskemet across the inner part of Hungary arrival in Varga Tanya - paradise for horse fanciers in prairies, group is welcomed by Csikos - Hungarian equivalent of cowboys rearing studs and cattle (worn in their peculiar garb), tour in Puszta (well-known and romantic part of Hungary) horse performance - presenting the "heroism" of the young horse cavaliers, special menu for lunch - (prepared in the open air - in pot on the open fire) served by the young girls worn in popular garbs ( aperitif, biscuits, goulache and different kinds of meat ) return to Kecskemet (city surrounded by vineyards and orchards and renowned for its apricot brandy) , check-in at the hotel***, (situated directly in the historical centre) short sightseeing tour in the centre before dinner, overnight
7th day: KECSKEMET - BALATON LAKE
departure for the Balaton Lake (the "Hungarian Sea") - crossing the Dunafoldvar Bridge over the Danube arrival in Szantod - passage across the Lake by boat lunch in Tihany - pub Fogas - delicacies of the Lake (different kinds of fish), in the afternoon visit to Tihany - to its twin-towered Baroque monastery ( housing the first words written in the Hungarian language), museum and crypt all the afternoon spent by the Lake: visit to spa town Balatonfured - walking tour in the quarter of port: Pantheon of Balaton, spa curative centre, 19th century villas and residences continue on to Badacsony - tour up the viewing point of Kisfaludy with wonderful views of Balaton Lake, possibility of buying regional wine return to the Club Tihany, overnight at the hotel
8th day: BALATON LAKE - SOPRON
Day off by the Lake, swimming in Club, walking tours in the surroundings departure for lunch to Keszthely-Heviz region in the afternoon a relax in Heviz, afterwards departure for the North-West - arrival in Sopron - walking tour in the historical centre, dinner and overnight at the hotel
9th day: SOPRON - return
